3GET is a form of "first reply" and may be used as such, but one should keep in mind that the original reply is the first one - provided that it is performed in an environment where the thread and the first post are not distinct - and that as such, 3GET is not the second reply to a reply but actually the first reply to the first reply, unless the first reply is a reply as previously evoked, meaning that technically 3GET is the third post.
