__NOTOC__ Learn how to stop being in love with fictional characters.
Steps
- Admit that you have a problem.
- Realize that anime characters are not real, but just ink on paper.
- Watch much less television. This not only will improve your mental health, but your fitness as well.
- Print out a picture of the character you are in love with. Perform some sort of negative association with the picture, like throwing darts at it, lighting it on fire, or crumpling it up and throwing it away. Many find this step extremely difficult. If you begin to cry or feel extreme guilt afterward, seek professional help immediately.
Tips
- Please keep in mind that anime may be real, in another dimension. It is entirely possible that after you leave this dimension, you will be reunited with your love. There are many methods to join the next dimension, so never give up hope. A method that's known to work is to seppuku yourself in your own stomach.
Warnings
- If you find that you are actually in love with an anime character, seek psychiatric help
- Fire can be dangerous, always have a fire extinguisher handy before attempting to burn a printout of your waifu.
Things you'll need
- An emotional bond to a fictional character.
- A color printer (both inkjet or laser printers are fine) or alternatively a black & white printer
- Paper (Recommended formats: A4 or US Letter. A4 is easier to find in Europe, Australia , Pacific Islands and Africa. US Letter is found in the US, Canada and South America.)
- HELP WANTED! Do YOU know which format of paper is most widespread in Asia, and South America? If so, please help making Tanasinn.info more useful for international readers by improving this page!
- In South-East Asia, A4 paper is much more easily found. US letter hardly exists, the only time you see it even mentioned regularly are under computer configuration settings. Exactly the same applies for South America.

- You could also use flint and steel, although it is difficult
- Use very small pieces of tinder to start the fire
- If it is sunny out, you can also use a magnifying glass
- A fire extinguisher
- A bucket of water works too
Things you'll no longer need
- Sacchinwho?
- <html><s></html>Haruhi

Endorsements
- Well, let's suppose for a moment that Feito-chan were real. Then, in that case, if (like me) you happen to also have a 3D complex, you would be in love with both 2D Feito and 3D Feito.Since 3D girls exist as physical persons, and not as ideas manifested through art like 2D girls, it means that she would only have one age of particular, but my emotional life would still get quite screwed up, because I would be feeling four different kinds of love for the three main 2D versions (loli, high school, and adult) and the 3D instance. In that case, it would be very beneficial to be able to stop loving the 2D ones. Now I'll be the first to admit that the idea that Feito-chan could become a 3D person is quite unrealistic, but I still think that this knowledge could be valuable in some rare edge cases. Of course, an article explaining "how to love an anime character even more" would be much more useful.–Anonymous 1
